An infectious disease specialist, Dr. Rayapudi is affiliated with Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, Georgia. Northside Hospital Forsyth continues to expand and add services to meet the ever-growing healthcare needs of Forsyth County and its surrounding communities.

In addition to being affiliated with Northside Hospital Forsyth, Dr. Rayapudi is on staff at Medical Center not-for-profit health care network that provides a wide array of high-quality services and facilities to Lawrenceville, Duluth, Hamilton Mill, Johns Creek, and the metro Atlanta area.

After earning her medical degree from Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research in Kolar, India in 1993, Dr. Rayapudi relocated to the United States. There, she completed her internship in internal medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by her residency in internal medicine at Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, New Jersey. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in infectious disease at UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2003.

She is board-certified in infectious disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She is also Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

She is also a member of IDSA and ACP.

Infectious disease, also known as infectiology, is a medical specialty dealing with the diagnosis, control, and treatment of infections. An infectious disease specialist’s practice may consist largely of managing Infections.

In her spare time, Dr. Rayapudi enjoys exercising and listening to music. Attributing her success to hard work and her patients, she earned the Most Compassionate Physician Award in 2011. In addition to English, she speaks Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

Kim earned her BSN from Brenau University in 2009 graduating Cum Laude all while raising her 3 beautiful children and maintaining her household. She worked on a Med-surge unit for several years as a nurse before returning to Brenau University to pursue her master’s degree. She became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014 and later that same year she joined Infectious Disease Professionals. She currently resides in Lawrenceville with her husband.

Her kids are grown and excelling well in life. Some of Kim’s interests include spending time with her kids every chance she gets, spending time with her two four legged children and her grand pups.

Carly worked in vet medicine for several years before she decided to pursue a career in human medicine. She achieved her undergrad degree from Berry College in 2009.

Carly continued her education through Yale University School of medicine. She graduated from Yale in 2021. She started working with Infectious Disease Professionals shortly after. Some of Carly’s interests include spending time with her horse Rainy and her dog Cooper. Carly also loves to spend time with her family.
